Not trying to pigeonhole, you guys sound as if there's a bit of Tapes n Tapes meets the Pixies mixed in there with someone else (I want to say Cloud Cult but not sure if that's it). Good stuff and pretty unique.

The Who - 7/18/96 Madison Square Garden

Just when I though that the Trader's Den might never produce any more gems for me... This is a radio broadcast/simulcast of the Who performing Quadrophenia as they did on the 96 tour - full band and orchestra. Great sounding and great mix of performance and crowd. I miss the old days of simulcast concerts.

For any who like sharing sites for live recordings, the Trader's Den is one of the best I've found.

These guys are a new discovery for me and I'm loving them.

Take the Verve, the Byrds, Big Star, Spacemen 3, Interpol & early Shins, throw them in a blender and you might get this band.

Great stuff!

The Cure - In Orange

This was a concert video that was released in the mid 80's of their concerts on 8/9 & 10/86. I'm listening to the audio from the laser disc release that was ripped and converted to mp3.

Great stuff from The Head on the Door Tour.

Rumor has it that it will one day be released on dvd. Hope so although I have it on vhs for now.

I was very much into Midnight Oil before Diesel and Dust hit and made them very widely popular for several years. I am listening again to Head Injuries, 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 and Red Sails in the Sunset and it's bringing back some very fond memories.

excellent drummer! I've heard people compare Midnight Oil to The Clash, I can see that on the earlier material.

I wish I'd gotten to see them live

Had to pop in Loc-ed After Dark (Tone Loc). Some songs are quite excellent (no, not his singles off that album), some are just trash. Still worth it for the good ones (On Fire, Loc-ed After Dark, Cheeba Cheeba).
