You don't eff with geese. They will fight you until they literally die. There are quite a few people who own trained guard geese, because geese DGAF.

always.... ALWAYS have a club in hand when they are nearby.

Is it because the geese will bite you with their large, gnashy teeth and terrifying claws?

The lawsuit makes sense, especially when you read the bilingual commenters on the article. They specifically call out the law regarding cell phone use. In French, the law reads that the driver can't have their phone in their hand, while the English version reads that you can't use your cell phone at all. And thus the confusion begins.
