Re: What the Fark 4: It's not unusual to be strange anymore

IINM, AZ, NV and WY have all done this and some of the speed increases have been pretty steep. I'm not sure if there are actual posted 75s anywhere in the west but if there are they are in places like this in NV:

High desert straight climbs are even more stunning than the famous flat straights in CA and AZ because the horizon runs much farther.

Are you sure that isn't southbound I-29 out of Fargo? That's posted 75 mph. Hit the SD line and it's posted 80 mph. Not kidding.

Actually, save for the cities (Fargo, Bismarck, GF), all of I-94 and I-29 in ND is posted 75 mph.

I'm pretty sure all interstates (I-29, I-90) in South Dakota are posted 80 mph. Keep that in mind when going to this years Western Regional. ;)

Well, I'll be d-mned. (No cracks.)

This
obviously started out as a sardonic clickbait snot nosed article. But I read every word and... seriously... I am convinced.

My only objection is the date. Christmas should be February 13. For unto you is born this day a savior.

I once drove from DIA to Ft. Collins. The speed limit was 80 or 85. I got the rental up to 90 and said, nope that was too fast for my blood and dialed it back to the limit.

Speed limit in Kuwait is 120 in spots and Mookie doesn’t hit that

:p

Dude is lucky to be alive. Can’t believe he didn’t feel it crack. You can see the dust explode out tens of seconds earlier.

I like this idea. Winter also bums me out because the last few places I've worked I get New Year's Day off, and then have to wait until Memorial Day for another paid holiday. That's a lot of work without a break.
