West Regional: North Dakota, Michigan Tech, St. Cloud State, Quinnipiac

Re: West Regional: North Dakota, Michigan Tech, St. Cloud State, Quinnipiac

I agree with you completely Tipsy. If UND was anything but a #1 seed this wouldn't have been fair to the other teams. Let's quit pretending these "neutral sites" are all neutral. Providence as a #4 seed in Providence was an absolute joke. Even for some that think attendance won't improve having #1 seeds host(they're wrong btw) can't tell me with a straight face that Fargo and Providence were neutral sites.
So let's say we do the #1 seeds host...MTU was 1 different result away from being a #1 seed. You think there are enough hotel rooms available on short notice to deal with 3 hockey teams, not to mention all the media, visitors, etc? What about Miami? or Ferris State? or Maine?

Just another reason to Tech to drop their program. You just said yourself they can't afford to be good.

Visiting teams can get hotels in Marquette and bus up for game time. They can also dress in the locker rooms at Dee Stadium and then bus to the rink with their skate guards in place. Visting fans can sleep in their cars at the SDC (charged two days parking). All part of the home ice advantage in my opinion. The NCAA better be careful what they wish for... because they'll get it.

Watch out NCAA! Houghton is prepared to show you just how terrible of a host they can be!

You'd be a poor travel agent only based on the fact that there is no Wendy's nearby... The rest of your statement is reasonable

You know during the post game news conference Pecknold was pretty much a jerk , but compared to Blasi he was a model of decorum

Can you blame Blasi? What the hell were those questions, besides absurd....

I'm no Mr. Bean fan by any means, but that was awful questioning. Don't blame him one bit for his demeanor.
