I'm in for the sports garden, and I might be interested in splitting a hotel room Saturday if you guys are alright with that. As long as I don't get molested by a crazy stranger this time...

Are you really complaining about waking up to some drunk girl straddling you?

Hey Yager, how does the UMD trip look? Are many people interested? Also, who is planning on staying in Duluth Saturday night and drinking at the sports garden? I know that Shirtless and I were planning on staying both nights.

Shirtless: if we end up getting a hotel with the group on Friday night, then we'd need to get one for Saturday night if we stay.

I was told that Yager could just extend one of the rooms for both nights...I plan on trying priceline to see if we can get a canal park hotel, but priceline could be bad...

Huskies Drive Time Notes

Week Off:

-Chance to instruct more
-Refine systems play

CC:

-Impressive at UW
-Strong defensively/in goal

-First WCHA games and road series
-Lots of freshmen getting a taste of travel and the big ice
-Must minimize turnovers - CC is a good transition team
-Need to get pucks to the net

Lines & Possible Scratches:

-Baker didn't practice yesterday - questionable for the weekend
-With Kattelus still suspended, missing two Top 6 forwards
-Lines will be shuffled considerably if Baker can't go
-Gwilliam-Olson-MacLeod line will stay together
-Royer-Dobson-Gordic will be the new second line
-JR thought Schooley played well in his first college game vs. LSSU
-Pietila-Witt-Schooley will make up the all-frosh 3rd line
-Robo will start Friday

Huskies need to take home some points from CC this weekend. Hoping for a couple. Anything more than that, to me, would be great. We can't dig an early hole and come home with zero. If they play like they did against Northern they should be fine this weekend.
