Possible...but not likely in Galilee. (or anywhere in Israel he may have been from)

He wasn't a descendent of Greek royalty like Cleopatra was. He was a descendent of Jewish Royalty (supposedly hence the King of Kings nonsense) which meant he was Semitic not Greek and likely would look closer to Egyptian than Greek.

Damn my late Rabbi Grandfather would be so proud :^)

This is what I have read, but granted it's pieced together from memory of scholarship so I cannot cite specific authors:

The Macedonian and Greek soldiers and administrators and merchants who infiltrated the Levant weren't royal either. (Cleo I was just drawing a comparison, I didn't mean they were from the same stock. She would also have far more pronounced ethnic features because she was either 3rd or 4th generation inbred.) Jesus' family was rock-ribbed, Republican, Pro-Business, Elks Lodge, Rabbinical Jewish. They included religious leaders, but in the sense of Methodists who want to be sure to make the right social connections at the synagogue. They were community leaders for a community that was held together by a Jewish identity so they were prima facie also Jewish, in the way a Boston politician in the 20th century was Irish. In fact, Jesus' opposition to the Pharisees suggests an anti-fundamentalist who was hostile to orthodoxy, although I have read partly this may be because Jesus was from the same social and cultural background as the Pharisees so part of this may have been a reaction against his own extended family.

I don't know that today's Semitic Levantine stock looks anything like that of the time. Talk about a region that has been run over a thousand times, each time changing the genetic character of the local population. Being in a crossroads means paying the price by constantly morphing into a m?lange of invaders and carpetbaggers and occupiers and victims. None of the original look and feel probably exists anymore.

Apparently, Biden has announced a speech on “democracy” for Thursday in prime time (in Philadelphia) and now it’s set the rumor mill that there’s an indictment coming Friday.
