Re: WCHA Thread IV

Ohio State @ Minnesota State

Bemidji State @ Minnesota-Duluth

Wisconsin @ North Dakota

Minnesota @ Yale

Interesting contests all around in conference play with the UW @ UND get together of particular interest. Can No Dak build on their latest victory and still be in 2nd place when the dust settles?

Yes, some real "interesting" (i.e. tough) conference games to predict this week. So as not to look foolish I think I'll pass and instead let our two USCHO pros (Arlan and Candace) have the honors. ;)

Good opportunity for the Buckeyes to rebound and reverse their recent slide. Both non-conference opponents should at least give them the opportunity.

The three games vs. the Russian National team should be interesting...certainly wouldn't surprise me either if one or two their players end up wearing a UMD Bulldog jersey next season. And speaking of the Dogs, I just might be pulling for them in their Friday/Saturday games...

Bob Morris and UNH. I'm just not real sure. For awhile now betting on OSU has reminded me of betting on the Vikings...a little.

What?! Where you get these wild, out of the box ideas I'll never know. ;)

Note that I only referred to OSU as having a "good opportunity". And I reckon that would vastly exceed the odds of the Vikings winning their next two games!

Again, not so wild of an idea as the Vikings winning two in a row! ;)

Don't ask me what happened to the OSU team that beat Mercyhurst and North Dakota on the road. I have no idea. I just hope we figure things out before the season slips away.

Don't see that showing up on a couple USCHO schedule pages. Don't know why...

I've been having a few bugs on certain USCHO pages for some time now.

Re: Unofficial Three Stars of the Game

Team Russia bounces back from an 8-0 loss at Duluth after arriving in the States last week, and beats the Bulldogs 5-2 last night. Let lag much that first game?? jeez

Also saw that Russia had their backup goalie in too, didn't look like the UMD goalies did too hot, two goals a piece with only 10/12 saves for both of them.
