The same UNO team Coached by Dean Blais that leads the nation in shots on goal, shots on goal versus shots allowed differential, and shutouts?

You seriously are learning impaired, aren't you? Bemidji took 7 out of 8 points from you guys, so if some Beaver nutjob started talking trash about how they're gonna wax the floor with you guys we'd look at them the same way. Go to your first Final Five and try to keep your shorts dry; the fact is that in a one-game matchup, an SCSU-UNO rematch would be 60/40 at best.

How UNO did against SCSU during the season doesn't mean squat. Last year, Denver won all four games they played against North Dakota during the season. Come Final Five semifinal, North Dakota beat Denver.

I can very easily see SCSU vanquishing UNO in the tournament.

It is my understanding that they reseed after the first round, but then set up the brackets and do not reseed after the Quarterfinals. So, the winner of the 3/6 matchup will play the 2 regardless if the 3 or 6 wins. It would be a nightmare to reseed after the Thursday Qfinals, especially if Minnesota makes the Final Five as a 3 through 5 seed.

No, what people are trying to say is that the Final Five at the X is a different animal than games being played during the regular season and yes JBSU has been playing much better as of late.

The 2nd part bolded is a big yawn. :rolleyes:

I guess we (BSU fans) better be prepared to listen how BSU plays the trap. I just find it humorous that the UNO fans are the only team BSU has played this year that accuses the Beavers of playing the trap!

Was thinking something similar to this. I know St. Cloud is hot right now, but there is a bit of hypocrisy going on here. If the UNO fan is wrong in stating that the regular season is an indication of how the playoffs will go, then I wouldn't be so fast to assume that St. Cloud is going to roll to the final five. Just sayin'.

You do understand the format, right? You seem to be too focused on SCSU, When you just happen to be playing a team that managed to grab 7 of 8 points from UNO this season. Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it.

That is because UNO fans don't know enough about hockey to know what a trap is.:D
