How come UND hasn't ever won a national championship in the REA? Is it because Uncle Ralphie had some of Hitler's bones buried under the ice? Is it because hakstool can't win the big one? Even god himself couldn't deliver in that worthless barn. It might as well be used to store some sugar beets until they can be processed, cause it will never be home to a Championship team.

:D As much as I want the Gophers to win I think they lose in a 3 game series. That being said everything is in place for an upset. Over confidence a big winning streak coming in. Its a hated rival they are kids. The Gophers have shown me nothing that would suggest that they can win 2 games up in Grand Forks BUT ya never know

MN fans may be 'fair weather', but they have an amazing ability to jump straight back to chauvinism and arrogance. This year's humble Gopher Nation is a yawn-infested bore. Sucks! We need them back.

I would say the arrogance is about 50-50 by both fan bases .

it took out of state money to build the REA, not enough profit in sugar beets or enough local pride to build their own.

North Dakota is one of only two states that currently has a budget surplus, so we could build a nicer, newer arena if we wanted to.
