I thought that would probably have been the case, so I looked, to be sure. It was not the case.

In the couple seconds of the video where you see her talking to Frost, she is wearing some sort of athletic "tennis" shoes. The video at BTN Plus has a run time of 2:30:53; you can see her shoes at 2:26:29.
 
Besides the one game (we assume) suspensions for Carmichael and Graham, Chloe Primerano and Jordyn Petrie also get a one game suspension.

well I was seeing red ala Mrs. White from the Clue movie at the time, hence my misremembering.

I've had a lot of chances to talk to Emma Kreisz. She plays a very clean game and is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. Seeing her down on the ice getting pummeled for no reason sent me to a very dark place.

This simply is not true. After Kreisz is down, Baxter delivers a clear cross check. That's what Primerano was responding to.

Also, no one else seemed to catch this, but when Kreisz went down late in the second period, it was because she got speared.

Umm at Umd - Umm should pack a lot of ice and practice on PP heavily prior. Not a lot of penalties. UMD just must hate UW more. Dawgettes sweep

With the two suspensions, Ohio St will be down to only eight forwards for the first game vs St Cloud. And Minn will be without two of their best D for their first game vs Duluth.

There should have been some sort of suspension for that. I've never seen such an egregious and blatant attempt to injure play in women's hockey . It was horrendous.

I just replayed it and it was a pretty dirty hit. I have no idea how they can sit in the same locker room on the national team.
