Effective immediately, WCHA home teams wear dark jerseys in league games.

You may want to clarify this statement...the HOME team is to wear dark colors...it would be kind of confusing if everybody did.

They'll just have to be the darker color. Presumably UAH could wear their greys if the opposing team wore whites, but I think that's a terrible idea.

I don't hate all dark jerseys, but I do hate our dark jerseys. They're black. That's not even one of our school colors! Give me some purple and yellow!

I like your dark green jerseys, but now I don't get to see those this year, or some pretty cool LSSU dark jerseys, or the Bowling Green Johnny Manziel jerseys. OK, so not a total loss.

I prefer the home whites/golds, road darks. Nice variety. You want to see a dark jersey? Go on a roadtrip! They're a blast.

I've been saying for years that if you went by our hockey uniforms, you'd swear that our school colors are black and white.

Some big games in the league today. Wish NMU had won last night and Lake State, both came close.

Our home whites were pushing that before this season -- you really had to look closely to find blue. Now our home whites have blue shoulder yokes and a thicker blue stripe, which really helped. I wish the numbers where blue with black trim instead of the other way around, though.

Your women's team's current purple jerseys are REALLY nice. I might be biased because the design is similar to UAH's blues, but I think MSU's men should have something similar to that.

Forgot one minor detail that Schlossman does call out in his article. That number includes WCHA Men AND Women. NCHC doesn't have women, so a lot of that loss can be on the women's side.

As absolutely awful as UAH has been in the last two months, this weekend at NoDak was a welcome sight. Yes, the Fn Hawks didn't have two of their top players. So? WE didn't have Brennan Saulnier on Saturday. ;) Carmine was razor sharp (save for the last goal, which I think that he wanted back), and those were two one-goal games up until 1:52 left in the second match when the green guys got an ENG and broke things open a bit. I honestly expected this to be a repeat of the 16-4 weekend at Tech last year.
