The one shining point for the Cats was Vazzano stepped in and played halfway decent. A very surprising and dissappointing outing for Madore. As far as I could tell those were the only two players on the ice.

I don't know what that was. It was like watching a high school team skate against MN. I only pray that was a wake up call, but one would have thought the US-18 team would have been. Here's hoping Sneddon lights a fire under someone's arse before Sunday.

Let's be honest, a high school team would have at least put up a fight. I wish I had DVR'ed the game so I could watch it at 2x speed with Yakety Sax playing in the background.

much as I hate to say this, its exciting to see the gophers play like their formerly awesome selves. Its going to hurt in a few weeks when they smoke the sioux though.

Completely different VT team today. They can actually pass and receive puck and actualy making some plays. You can see there confidence building each period as they get their season legs. Let's see if they can hold off a third period rush by UM that we know is coming.

Good game by Vermont weathering the storm after the Gophers took a 3-1 lead. Catamounts looked light years different between the two days...then again, so did Minnesota. Good luck to you guys the rest of the season.

Nice game Vermont. You battled back from a beat-down. Assist goes to LaPanta and Gorg for projecting the Gophers being undefeated going into the UND series when Friday's game was only half over.

Thanks you too. That will be an entertaining UM team to watch this year as they have some talent and speed. That kid Rau has a nose for the net!!! Looking forward to the return trip of UM to UVM next year.

I'm looking forward to making the trip to Vermont next year. Should be fun. You guys have a talented team. I think you'll surprise some people this year :)

I think a split at a 5-1 team is gonna be worth alot more than your sweep of a 1-5 team that just lost 10-2 last night.

Dont worry you wont have those tough teams like UConn this week instead your schedule gets easy with BC.

Great game for the Cats. Not surprised by Friday night - no games played versus four. Huge deal in college hockey with the practicing restrictions. Hopefully, Sunday is a better representation of the season outlook. Now rooting for the Gophers rest of the reason and I hope vice versa.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Not only was the present game only half over, but they were also giving your team the next two games on the road.
