Ah well. I thought Union might be a tough match. I suppose it's a good thing #5 Hamilton is a freshman -- he won't be able to forget those errors that led to two goals, and maybe he can use those to improve his play next year. Puskarich is a keeper.

Must say this was a much better season than I expected but today's game was disappointing . I hope they can build on this and have another good recruiting class. Loss of McCarthy will be tough. Great season by the lady Cats as well!! Love the look of the new potential facility posted below. Let's keep these programs moving forward!!!

I expect Hamilton will turn out just fine in the long run. Last goal didn't matter anyways. The first goal was pathetic as was the 4th. 2 and 3 were great power play goals, too bad Union had so many opportunities.

Great game by McCarthy, he represented himself well. Cant wait to root for him at the NHL level. He will go and play the remainder of the season for someone. The guys should be disappointed and proud all at the same time...

E.Cat from what I see it is a whole new facility. Much like the Whit which I think would be perfect for UVM! Just the right size and can accomadate hockey and hoops.

Sneddon will trade him in for a new guy next year. It will be interesting to see who else he goes after for greener pastures. I'm sorry but that entire game was a defensive disaster which I put right on the coach. We did not look prepared to play. I don't accept the moral victory and let Sneddon and the dos Equis look alike guy off the hook. Other than mccarthy and Paliotta I thought we had no game plan. Trust me folks it's gonna be a long year next year.

Looking at the UND/Wisc game shows why you want certain match ups. UVM would have matched up much better against Wisc than Union. That swap out really hurt them in my opinion. Let someone else try to beat up on Union first..

I agree 100% . I was hoping we got that bracket!

Catmando I am with you on no creativity in the offensive zone and a typical Sneddon game. Curious if making the tournament saves his bacon.

Make sure they budget for a Jumbotron as shown in the architect's rendering (what the Whitt sorely lacks.) And I like the UNH banner featured prominently in the top slide! ;) Good luck with the initiative to raise funds.

My real question though -- will the new facility include the subterranean/labyrinthine tour to get to the arena? ;)

Congrats on a good season. Was rooting for you guys last night. Union really is just that good.

Anxious to see if Super Mario is really a keeper. I went to the Lowell games and he was disappointing (except for the key OT winner). I think he benefitted greatly from McCarthy. I liked the other frosh on the line much better. Brendon is the keeper.

Not sure why they are playing 5 d dumbest thing I have seen. Patrick doesn't appear to me like a players coach, never see him talking to the players on the bench or trying to keep everyone in the game. Hope he is gone to somewhere else for next season.
