Yup, matches up with my source

Re: UVM Catamounts 2019/20

I think it means he told the UVM NCAA Compliance Officer he wants to transfer to another school.

Re: UVM Catamounts 2019/20

Interesting twist as younger brother Anthony is a 20-21 recruit. You watch the season filter by saying can't get any worse. Then you wake up and more bad news is announced. Joey C. leading goal scorer in 18-19 with 9. Can't get better until the head of the program is completely gone. Has to go before more damage is done.

What exactly does that mean? Has he left the team or interested in leaving?

He wants out, and has put the NCAA on notice of such. Maybe the team can just start practicing at Torrey Mitchell’s and Peter Lenes’s new facility in Essex. Sure bet there’s some skill development work going on there.

From what my source said Joey is headed back to the USHL and will be eligible to play elsewhere around this time next year

Re: UVM Catamounts 2019/20

From bad to worse.... if Sneddon gets an extension put a fork in the next 3 years.. might have to change leagues to the AIC...

Re: UVM Catamounts 2019/20

If a student-athlete had to choose to disrupt his life before Christmas, then Kevin Sneddon has certainly done quite enough damage to student-athletes, the UVM hockey program and the University to have his life disrupted before Christmas.

Re: UVM Catamounts 2019/20

Another hazing incident should get Sneddon fired immediately

It should have gotten him fired when it happened a few years ago. They just thought they'd be good that year. It's too bad because cutting the losses then might have been able to have found you a candidate that would be great but has now been snatched up elsewhere. Bergeron, Danton Cole, etc. Honestly the hazing under Gilligan was bad and the aftermath wasn't good at all on and off the ice but they recovered. Gilligan was on a downward trend but Sneddon came in and won with the reminents of a few of his last recruits and rode that wave until it all just crashed into where were at now without anyone seeing the clear warning signs starting at least 6-7 years ago. UVM got what it deserved with the hazing scandal the first time 3 win season and all and will be a black eye on the program forever but this does feel worse because it's just willful ignorance from those in charge to not see that rewarding someone who is no longer qualified to do the job creates lots of irreversable damage. No more sellouts, never competitive, your better players deciding to bail because it rightfully is not worth their time to stick around.

Speaking of players who didn't stick around Mike Lee is Scared Heart's leading points getter with 2 goals and 19 assists as a defenseman and they're off to their best season in a long time. Sacred Heart which probably has little to no fan support or anything has more going for them and to look forward to than UVM.

Kevin Sneddon is one of Robert Corran's great legacies at UVM, along with the defunct baseball and softball programs and the America East-level lacrosse program. Corran ended his reign of terror in June, 2016, so it was his intern, Jeff Schulman, who would have had to pull the trigger on Sneddon when they explained how the 2016 hazing incident wasn't really that bad. No intern could make that harsh decision, and only an intern would allow a Division I coach to coach in the final year of his contract without an extension to tell recruits about. Now, we'll see if UVM still has Corran's intern at the head of the Athletic Department or if UVM has a grown-up athletic director.

Sneddon is done. Everyone involved in the program knows it. If the Holiday tournament is a disaster on and off the ice, they should just pull the plug then.

he has a younger brother as well; slated for '20 or '21 for your program.
you have a beautiful campus & facilities; too bad the hockey has gotten to this point. here's hoping you are out of the swoon soon.
