It's a possibility. I think it would have to be a premier program though, or one where things are pretty lined up to make it a premier program. Unfortunately, this excludes UVM. Plus, we've got Sneds -- gotta figure he'll be around for another 5-10 years unless the team goes winless one season. :rolleyes:

Wouldn't you want a challenge...:D ? I am curious if he was a good coach or road on the coattails of of a UND program that was funneling through NHL draft picks solely on reputation so it was just a matter of controlling egos. Much like BC.

you know it's hard to care about a team when we haven't played in 3 weeks and no one is excited when it's game day again

also, i remain not a fan of the thomas/long pairing

A couple of pretty bad teams last night, but UVM boys hopefully gained some confidence going into the second half.
There were a few guys that can really make plays with the extra bit of time playing that kind of team.
I hope we keep shooting tonight and some of the breaks will bounce our way.

watching the NU-Alabama hockey feed.. & saw the teaser/ trailer for the new facilities being planned for the 'Gut, BB & athletics in general..
just want to just say... wow!!! Looks fantastic, amazing, all of those things.. hope they stick with what was being presented. Its going to transform the campus & Catamount athletics for sure. All the best to UVM with this. Very, very cool!

Happy for the players that they got to win *something* this year, but forgive me if I'm not going to celebrate winning a tournament in which we only played two teams in the bottom 10 of the Pairwise and where the team we didn't play was a team that's actually good that was missing two key players

Looking to watch an upcoming game. Is there a way to watch without watching on a laptop? Smart TV, Fire Stick, Roku?

The only games I have seen using Roku was on the espn+ app behind paywall.
I had signed up for the free trial , but don't know any other streaming device unless on safari, firefox on phone or ipad.

So, I can't go to the game tonight and, for the first time ever, have no buyers for our 4 tickets. Doesn't help that UVM Administration is GIVING AWAY free tickets to tonight's game. Schulman and Sneddon need to go.

Depressing to watch the on-ice product Sneddon has given us. Ugly.

The worst bit is casual fans will eat up the .500 record as a Great Sign of Improvement when in reality you can break down the wins like this:

4 cupcakes (UAH/RPI/SHU/Brown, no disrespect to them but they have been dreadful in recent years). Even then, SHU and Brown probably outplayed us.

3 games that Lekkas single-handedly stole with heroic 40+ save performances (@Mich, @Dartmouth, and @CC).

And the 1 oddball: that UConn miracle

I think this poster is the only one who is posting so I for one enjoy the information. Please add something to the thread if you think it needs a bump. I happen to like the information this poster shares.

Not sure what is up with college hockey? Watching Merrimack at UNH on NESN and the stadium is 60%+ empty. Lived in that area in the 90s and you could not get tickets. Granted they were a top 10 team nationally every year back then. Is it dilution with more programs or just hockey east losing its edge? UVM used to be a tough ticket with constant sell outs but no more.
