Another good game. Love to see them passing through the neutral zone. And once again Hamilton had a very good game. Whatever he did over the summer has made a huge difference in his game because he is a completely different player when compared to the last 3 years.
Great end-to-end effort. It is nice to see the forwards back checking with gusto.

The Cats have some scorers this season! The first Colton goal was sick! The Lodermeier backhand goal was also a beauty. Lekkas was awesome again! For the first time in a long time, we're exciting to watch! Yay, Go Cats Go!!!

I think both Sneddon and Hamilton went to somewhere this off season as I don't recognize this game plan/style or the player. Both are great so far!

Very nice win tonight. It's interesting, I came away from last night thinking that SLU and QU were a step above their HE counterparts (the UVM/UMA game was quite sloppy for the first half or so, then UVM started looking better). But tonight it was flipped, and I thought neither SLU or QU looked great, while UVM looked quite good and UMass played much, much better than last night.
Good luck the rest of the season, except for the SLU March up in a little over a month

What a weekend for the Cats! Gutterson is going to be rocking for the BU series. Hopefully they don't lose their edge during the bye week. Ross Colton is unreal right now, definitely the best freshman they've had since Puskarich (although that doesn't really say much) I really hope they can keep him around for more than a year or two.

We move up to #14 in the USCHO poll! Funny, we're second best among HE schools in Pairwise, but only 5th best in the poll. Not an issue in my mind, but how the heck do they have the Domers ahead of us in the poll?!? That's a little annoying....

Great weekend for the Cats, though the broadcast was a bit painful to suffer through. Video quality was fine, the announcers really needed to use less cliches and maybe a few less magnificents!
With that said, I gladly suffered through the broadcast to watch the Cats skate with an offensive mindset that has been seriously lacking in the several past years.

6 spots up in one week is alot but I agree seeing teams with 5 loses ahead of us is annoying.
Vermont's team offense is now tied for 8th in the country but they dont have a single player in the top 80 in points. Have fun matching
up with those lines. Vermont will surely be able to roll 4 lines more than most others which in a 2 game weekend will be huge come late
Saturday.
Love watching the highlights on the first goal as the announcer is raving about Q as Colton blows by them.
We have beat top ranked teams before but usually its a big D effort and a few PP or garbage goals, I cant remember us beating a top5
team by out Sniping them. Looks good from this end for once.

I agree with you 100% and that has helped the team be able to introduce 4 freshmen into the lineup without hiccup.
What happened to Abramson? He was hurt early in the UMass game and did not play against Quinnipiac. I hope it isn't serious as Muscoby has been shaky and Phillips hasn't played much. As cool as these freshmen seem to be, it is nice to have a veteran presence on the back line.

Not so sure about that......according to one of the freshman d, Hamilton was cut after last season but asked to be given a chance to play his way back into Sneddon's good books over the summer. He did and that is what caused Ferguson to be such a late cut as he got the chop instead. Hamilton has had his ups and downs over his 4 years but to think he was not capable of being on this team was lunacy. Props to the kid for sticking it out and proving the coaching staff wrong.

It certainly isn't always the highly touted cream that rises to the top.....
Sometimes good hard effort and consistent play will get you the playing time.
Before the season started the boards thought a lot of the lineup would be different.
Some of the less hyped guys have been favorites.....Bradley, Puffer, Priv...etc.
Awesome to be able to roll 4 lines AND still have guys in the stands that slide right in when called upon.
oh.....and 'magnificent' goaltending certainly helps.....!

To be honest alot of us thought Hamilton wasn't deserving of playing time with what we saw on the ice when he first came here, getting beat one on one and making bad gambles that cost goals. But like
you said big props for how much he has chanced and upped his game to not only make the lineup but be best Dman so far this year.

God I'll consign on the announcing being difficult to take... had an Irish boxing commentary feel to it. Cat lover appreciate those stats.
Hamilton has developed into a first pair defenseman strong both ways... credit to the kid and coach however it happened. I certainly didn't see it coming.
Team is really fun to watch this season. A 9-3-2 record does does that haha but we are playing with a lot more style/ aggression.
