This is where you contradict yourself. The first sentence and the second sentence can’t both be true. If they had the money it wouldn’t put an “extreme strain” on their finances.

It very much can be true. If I have $50,000 to my name and want to buy a $49,000 car, the money is there but it probably isn't a wise move at the time.

You really have a comprehension problem. If other coaches are upset with Utica, it is their opinions I'm getting. Not the Utica coaches. So, why would the Utica coaches tell me what other coaches are or should be feeling?

Years ago, I said Utica was never going D1. One of the few who said that. I read the tea leaves. I got inside information. I got some folks' (involved in the game) opinions. Guess who was right?

Hmm, pretty good prediction for someone who doesn't know anything about D3 hockey.

BTW, why don't you put your real name out there. I do. All the time. Yet, you seem to think you know more than me. What's your name? Put it out there. I stand by what I say and predict by putting my name out there.

Which means there is not enough money. Just because you don't go into debt, doesn't mean you have the money to do something. It was exactly this reason from what I heard that Utica did not want to make this move. They may have technically had enough money, but they realized it wasn't worth it. Ergo, the reason why I state they didn't have enough money ... to make themselves feel comfortable. And this is why all along I said they were never going D1.
 
You know what's funny about this discussion. We usually spend this time of year bitching and moaning about who did and did not make the NCAA field. That discussion is no longer relevant these days, so we're taking all that traditional pent up anger and spilling it out over this debate. LOL

I do call others out sometimes. When I'm being attacked, I expect people to "show their face."

You were pretty darn clear in your meaning with that message. And others obviously read it the same way as I did.

I stayed in my lane and predicted Utica would not go D1 ... years ago. And ... drumroll please ... I was right.

And you are the one who keeps saying I know jack shit about this situation, and yet I was the one who called it correctly years ago, based on my sources. So, I have no idea what you keep prattling on about.

The issue here is that millions of $$ wouldn't have been raised, the AHA wouldn't have visited with UU and Aud officials, etc. if there were no legs to it. Hell, other athletic teams were being told by their coaching staffs that they were moving up to D2. Like I said earlier, if there was no change in presidency, Utica would be D1 right now.
