correct. It used to be shorter but was lengthened to 200 feet about 20 years ago. In fact it may have been lengthened to keep the AHL team in town. They left the next year or so.

See if you can't get Oswego to update their page as well. They have to know the dimensions of the rink by now? I think it is a little wider than standard NHL?

Almost. It's going to be 193 feet. They made it as big as they could without knocking walls down, and that was the most they could do.

Plattsburgh did not remodel, only paint and replaced the seating. A feasibility $tudy was done, however, for consideration for the day when the aging refrigeration system needs to be replaced.

So Bowdoin will travel to The Aud and play Utica after all the HS kids have had their fun. I am expecting the press release any minute for Ray's 6 hour pre-game show...:D

He probably can give his listeners real time updates on the scores and goings on with the three other games. If there's any OT in the HS games, all of the games in the Eastern time zone may have wrapped up before they drop the puck, and the Western game will be well underway

... That's what I'm afraid of.

I go to the HS tournament most years, and OT happens... Last I heard, the boys play one 15 period, then go to a shootout. I haven't seen that for myself, but if a couple of games get that far, the college game might start at 10 or later.

I'm wondering why Bowdoin agreed to this situation, or if they were given the choice or not.

I seriously doubt that the NCAA gave Bowdoin a choice in the matter . .

You'd think that they might have, considering how rigidly the start-times were said to be enforced by some well-informed posters here.
