Yes, the semifinals are this Saturday, the Final is next Saturday, March 4. Its been that way for a few years now.

Missed that part, but what a game! A complete gun-fight.
I actually prefer the women's rules. So much more flow.

Typical UC this evening. Get up 3-0, play like the game is over, blow lead in 7 min, play furiously to win.
This won't fly vs. Hobart or anyone else going forward.
Elsewhere, UC got a boost tonight w/ the win and Amherst and Babson going down. Win the W title and hope Platty and Trinity don't win theirs and we'll have a puncher's chance in the smoky room.

Very entertaining game. UC played possum after getting up 3-1, but got away with it.
So they beat NU three times this year, now they have to beat Hobart three times..? Very tall order, but the stars aligned tonight via Amherst and Babson...

Is the 1pm start time correct for sat?? d3.com has it at 1pm perhaps a Comet game sat night?...Ok checked the Comet schedule,they play Albany at home 7pm,THE U gets the 1pm start mark it down.........

Yes it is at 1 and yes the comets play later....usually 7 but may go to 730?

Entertaining.....yes. Frustrating as well? Absolutely. After the second goal they quit. All neuman after that. Don Cherry said (or at least concurs) that 2-0 is the worst lead in hockey. Many times the 2-0 leader ends up losing which we almost did. Need 60 minutes of effort. Less than that and they won't get where they (and all of us) want them to go.

If Utica could've played the 3rd like they did the 1st & 2nd, it would've been a less stressful game. They sat back pretty much the entire 3rd period, stuck in their own end, clustered around the net. Pretty frantic effort by Neumann, which rewarded them with 3 goals. Must have been an "oh crap" moment that pretty much woke Utica up after that. The last 5 or so minutes was the effort Utica needed the entire 3rd period. That can't happen against Hobart or UC is going to get burned badly. It's going to have to be a 'leave it all on the ice' game IMO. A bit of opportunity is there for UC if they win, with teams losing over the weekend. Slim, but a chance.

If Norwich and Oswego both lose, Utica will be out. SNC/Adrian loser, Norwich and Oswego would be locks. Even if they lose to Utica, Hobart looks pretty solid for the last Pool C. You don't want favorites to lose, you'd rather have them win.

As a UC fan, I definitely don't want to see any upset AQ's... And I envision problems for Hobart if they lose on Saturday, at least in terms of seeding. (As in, playing two road games to even get to the FF.)

I understand that prof. I meant teams just ahead of Utica in the 4-7 range. You misunderstood.(no upset AQ's)

But I have to believe that Utica winning H2H 3-0-0 and their RNK is enough to make up the difference in WIN
