What media feeds are there for the game tomorrow? Any free video streams?
It wouldn't have been such a bitter pill today had Utica not dominated the OT as Hobart did the regulation... Literally, an inch or two, and I'd be singing a much happier tune right now.
Having said that, Hobart was the better team today. Heenan was out-coached and UC was out-efforted. Perhaps a perfect storm tonight could result in Utica salvaging a bid anyway, but I seriously doubt it.
Just the same, a good season. i predicted 16-18 wins, and got the latter. This team -if it remains intact- should be fine next year. Virtanen is the real deal, and all the crucial pieces are set to return. Just wish that Heenan could figure out how to win a big game once in a while.
Everyone I asked (all Utica fans, mind you) thought that the disallowed UC goal hit the back-post and rebounded out. The fact that it wasn't shown on replay supports that take on it. Did anyone get a definitive look?
I did not get a definitive look, but no one, and I mean no one (players coach etc) said boo. Gotta believe if anybody thought it was in they'd be complaining.....LOUDLY. but not a peep. And by the way they have above the net views at scorers table....at least for comets. Could have been reviewed.

I have never seen a review at a D-3 game, but the ref waved it off immediately anyway, and the only howls seem to come from the fans. My section was right on top of that, but it happened so fast... Wouldn't bet my life on it.
Again, Hobart played the better game, in any case.

go to the USPHL site Utica has about 5 or 6 guys coming in from that league.Heartbreaker for sure, heck of a season though. They have a ton to be proud of this year and I'm already looking forward to next year. This team is pretty solid, Virtanen is for sure the real deal. Kid impressed a lot of people this year, myself included, especially with 40 saves on Saturday. Future is looking good for him and the rest of the team. We only lose 4 guys to graduation, and I'm assuming that due to his injury a few years ago, Bushinski has 1 year left of eligibility, he would've been a senior this year. Have to wait and see about any more recruits and whatnot over the off-season, but only a few things to tweak IMO for next year.
Hmmmmm...Company for the Aud ! http://www.syracuse.com/news/index....posed_in_oneida_county.html#incart_river_home
