Depends on how the game is ticketed. The fear would be that after the first semifinal people could leave and hand their ticket off to somebody on the outside. Unless they stamp hands, or something like that they won't be able to prevent that. I think you are going to be captive - unless there are separate tickets for the two semis

Two tickets would force you to empty the arena and re-enter...
True, but without re-entry control of some type it is the only way that there would be assurance that people who re-enter the arena had a ticket to do so. Heck, otherwise you could buy a ticket, use it in the first game, exit and sell it to somebody outside who didn't have one - you could probably even make a profit on the deal - which I'm sure would displease the NCAA.
I've been to a ton of D-1 Regionals, and they have always allowed egress and ingress between games. I'm assuming the same at this event, but who knows.
DI frozen fours usually have separate tickets for all three games (with a long break between games).
As far as the game went tonight, Naz deserved the win. They played outstanding D and blocked a ton of shots. Utica fought like a cornered pit-bull, but just couldn't solve the trap and the terrific effort down low from Nazareth.
Hate to say it, but that game was likely the dagger. Even if UC wins the W tournament, they're going to need some very serious help.
I agree, I think they're out
I agree as well. They didn't look like a good team that happened to get beat that night . They looked like a mediocre team, period.
If I recall correctly, UC did not win the ECAC West the year they were invited to the FF. Obviously THAT was a team that happened to lose, but still looked like a team that should get in. Just don't see that with this squad.
IMO, Utica didn't play a bad game as much as Naz played a perfect one.
UC needs serious help, as I said, but it's not technically over yet. No question remains that they need to win the W tourney, and probably beat Hobart for the 3rd time en route, to even be in the mix... It's a tall order, but within the realm of
Edit: UC lost a ton of ground last night, and made-back half of it tonight. It ain't over; the prospective AL field is still very fluid.

Well, somewhat amazingly, UC was ranked #8 today... A bid is likely their's to lose, though that's probably contingent on a win-out yet again.
Gonna make the upcoming games a whole lot more meaningful, though.
#8 does not make the tournament as a Pool B or Pool C.
Tell that to the KRACH.
