UW is averaging under 3 goals a game since the break and is 5-3 in that span, UM is on a roll. It's the rodent fans who are sandbagging.

3. Northeastern - hard to move them higher with that L to Holy Cross

The Badger's speed and energy, especially in game 1 at Ridder, was amazing, but okay, you've convinced me.
The Gophers are 4-2 in their last 6 games, not exactly a roll.

This weeks poll theme is pop\jazz\R&B bands with horn sections. Mostly old school with a couple of more modern selections.
1. Minnesota - Chase "Get It On" Oh those trumpets...
2. Wisconsin - Chicago "Make Me Smile"
3. Northeastern - Ides of March "Vehicle"
4. Clarkson - Tower of Power "What is Hip" crazy legs sax player...
5. Cornell - Snarky Puppy "Shofukan (We Like It Here)"
6. Princeton - Average White Band's Pick Up The Pieces covered by Candy Dulfer "Pick Up The Pieces"
7. BU - Earth Wind & Fire "Magic Mind" Props to the two dudes spinning their horns.
8. bc - Sly and Family Stone "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)" Looking at the devil...
9. Ohio State - Blood Sweat & Tears "Spinning Wheel" cowbell...

Yes...Ohio State with BS&T's Spinning wheel is a great match. And I could have chosen Chase "Open Up Wide" for Minnesota as well. Equally off the charts trumpet playing in that.

maybe nobody is sandbagging
my concern is that they had a chance to grab 1st place and squandered it
doesn't exactly inspire confidence when it gets to the WCHA & NCAA tournament where all the teams are capable of winning
if you can't grab it when it is handed to you ...

If BU had beaten NU (rather than tied) I probably would have swapped BC and BU. But on the whole I really don't think BU is the better team.
