USCHO Poster's Game, 2010- in the house that Yost Built.

Re: USCHO Poster's Game, 2010- in the house that Yost Built.

Just realized just how hosed I am for the Frozen Four Weekend. I've got a weekend class that weekend that runs from Friday-Saturday-Sunday from 9 am til about 5pm. I might be able to make it to the games, but looks like the Poster's game is all shot to hell for me now. I only get an hour lunch during the class and I'm on the other side of Ann Arbor from Yost at that time. :( :( :(

Wow, that sucks.

BTW, soon we will have an on line registration set up.

For sure cost will be reasonable- but I need to get a feel for # of probables, so that cost can be as low as possible.

If you are going to be there, just shoot me an e-mail- alfablue (dot) uscho (at) gmail (dot) com

I'll probably not reply, in case you don't see a reply.

Thanks.

Yes we will, some time between tomorrow and after carnival, depending on how much work I have to do to be ahead before I take three days off of work.

Re: USCHO Poster's Game, 2010- in the house that Yost Built.

Looks like FM and I are out for the whole thing, barring a massive change of plans. :(

Bummer. :( I hope plans, indeed, change.

Remember, all- no requirement to actually go to the Frozen Four to play. Obviously, that's directed at all Michiganders, from northern Ohio, and Northern Indiana.

I figure it might be wort the trip for Falcons, Buckeyes, and Irish including all the schools in state.

I'd slill love to see a uP vs the world competition. Boats, cats, and dogs vs. everyone else. Would be cool to have such representation.

That would work the best if the World's team Jersey's all say BYE WEEK on them, and are the color of an orange construction barrel. ;)

Also, on a more important note. Add another "Yooper" to the maybe list (Though, im not a native Yooper). Im planning on making the trip to Detroit and pending the room in my car, the hockey gear will be in tow. I have a Toyota, so I dont have much room and I'll also be bringing along some video equipt. for our Sports Show up here.

Hey, all- registration is open for the posters game!!!

Thanks to tDarkenss, we have a web page where you can register for the game... So in the interest of repeating myself....

USCHO POSTERS GAME
Saturday, April 10, 2010.
Noon- 2pm
Yost Ice Arena, Ann Arbor MI

Registration Click Here

So you know, you need to click the "login/register" link at the top, and I will get your registration info at my alfablue.uscho (at) gmail.com

BTW, cost wise- we are still thinking about it, but assuming we get ~30 players, the cost will be nicely less than $20/pp for ice time. And hopefully, we can do some arranging to help people get from hotels to Ann Arobor.

Since we end at 2pm, and the final game isn't until 7pm (?), what does the masses want to do after the game, all nice and smelly and sweaty?

I'm pretty geeked about hosting this year.

Re: USCHO Poster's Game, 2010- in the house that Yost Built.

Really looking forward to this. It'll be fun to be back on the skates and stink up Yost for a little bit. :)

Re: USCHO Poster's Game, 2010- in the house that Yost Built.

Self serving bump here...

For you who can't play, but want to be involved, shoot me an e-mail- I can for sure use some help with day of registration and check in (so that I can get dressed, too).

Also- if you want to ref- register on line, and put ref in for position. Same goes for score keeper, penalty box, live feed- etc.

For the live feed- Yost does have wireless internet, so if anyone wants to do an internet feed + commentary, it would work out just fine.

Shameless bump.

It's March 2, and we currently have 7 players and one off ice volunteer. Again, please register if you are interested in doing anything.
