Sorry - Right Round The Clock
Metric – Synthetica
Pixies – Gouge Away
The Regrettes – Hey Now
The Beatles – Get Back
Sly & The Family Stone – M’Lady
Soul Asylum – Cartoon
Cold War Kids - Who's Gonna Love Me Now
Eminem - Godzilla ft. Juice WRLD (his vocal cadence to end this track is off the charts wicked)

Cited in most lists of the fastest raps of all time, along with Worldwide Choppers byTech N9ne. But Eminem destroyed it later with Rap God -- statistically the fastest rap ever. In one sequence he raps 101 words in 16.5 seconds. Fun fact: at that speed War & Peace would still take 26 hours to spit.

Eminem can spit rhymes like few others, and it's crisp. You can understand the lyrics, unlike some other fast rappers where you don't know what the heck they are actually saying.

Yes. I have no problem unless I start thinking about it. You just have to open your brain throat and chug it.

Guy straight up studied the dictionary as a grade schooler. He's on my Mount Rushmore of rap for lyrics.

As a guy who knows what reading the dictionary can do... Kappa

ETA: The Rushmore:

Grandmaster Flash
Insert Run DMC member here
Pac/Biggie as one entry representing the East Coast/West Coast feud
Dre/Eminem (will concede this spot to Dre if only because Dre discovered Em)

This is terrible. I've been listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers deep cuts on Pandora. They're much better than I thought they were. They're actually... good. It's just their top 3 or 4 songs are so overplayed they are irritating, and of course their stage shtick was infuriatingly smug, but... they're actually good. They know what they're doing. The lyrics are good, the musicianship is good. It's good music.

I feel dirty. I enjoyed hating them.

Kep, I enjoyed hating Kesha and Lady Gaga. Now they're in heavy rotation.

It happens. Tastes change over time.

I don't know what deep cuts you're listening to, but no, their lyrics are not good.

Opinions vary.

Like I said, I'd a sworn they sucked. They do not suck.

John Frusciante is a hell of an amazing guitar player.

Lyrics aside (i’m Not generally a fan of their lyrics) they’re very talented musicians and in their prime were incredible live.

Flea's bass playing is incredible. However, all their songs are something about CA or drugs, etc. The songs are over-rated, although the musicianship is great. IMO, they have no real variety. They are one-note, so to speak.

There is ton of variety musically between Freaky Styley, Uplift Mofo Party Plan, Mother's Milk, BSSM, Californication and By The Way alone. And while they do sing about LA enough, a lot of their music (hits or deep tracks) have nothing to do with drugs.
