Much like "Wonderful Christmastime" invalidates everything Paul did with the Beatles, "Hollaback Girl" wipes out Gwen Stefani's No Doubt career.

Last night, I listened to Love. Angel. Music. Baby. And being a skeptic, my mind changed with new evidence.

"Hollaback Girl" doesn't wipe out Gwen with No Doubt, but it does drag Love Angel Music Baby from an A- to a B.

This. Not a huge fan of the Beatles, and love No Doubt/Gwen but the two aren't even in the same ballpark. Not even the same sport, to (c) Pulp Fiction and the holiest of holies convo.

The Beatles sing a lot of silly love songs and Gwen/No Doubt do not. Clearly, they're not in the same ballpark.

They say that people have had enough of silly love songs. I look around me and see it isn't so.

Luscious Jackson. I knew they released "Naked Eye" in the 1990s, and today, I wanted to hear more from them. Currently checking out "Natural Ingredients."

Got 2 tickets to the Off-Broadway production when it comes to Boston in October.

Yup. We ended up with tickets by sheer luck. Good friends of ours got 8 tickets and 2 of the people backed out (the wife of one of the couples decided she's boycotting because of the Pence thing). We gave the purchasing couple a check and took the tickets before she came to her senses.

Dr. Mrs. and I got them on the second electronic ticket line for the Kennedy Center. The first time she was stuck in a meeting and couldn't log in until 8 minutes after init. Her spot in the line was over 57,000th.

The second time we had 8 different computers synced and still just barely got tickets on only one of them.
