USCHO Music: From Queen to The Beatles to Lady Gaga

Spotify Wrapped dropped. After years of being in the top .5% I finally succeeded in reaching the top .1% of Jimmy Buffet fans. Fins up!

My list of most listened to songs was topped by "Brasso" off the Andor soundtrack and "That's Gonna Leave a Mark" by Molly Tuttle.

Spotify thinks I am 59 based on my listening habits...

My Top artist this year was The Warning. Not even close. (Spiritbox is cool, I found them this year as well).

Looks like my fave new single of the year is going to be Body Down by Stanley Simmons.

Power under restraint.

Control is so much sexier than pyrotechnics.

Beautifully shot, too. The techs for Ed Sullivan knew what they were about.
When I was a freshman at UMaine, a buddy and I went to see the big UMaine jazz band play at the student commons.

They had a female drummer, and we both fell in love with her watching her play Sing Sing Sing.

After I was out of school, I actually got to meet her. Went to see a regional band play at a bar in town, guitar player was a friend of a friend I worked with, bass player went to school with a couple of my college friends, and she was the drummer. Hung out with them in their hotel room after the show.

Damn if I can remember her name now. She was an amazing drummer.
