There are no bye weeks, because the league is not set up as being head-to-head scoring. Each week you gain points for your players performance, and the standings are determined by total points. You aren't playing against a specific opponent during the week. This is different in the post season, in that case you are seeded and go head-to-head against another team.
Friday will work. My better half will just have to go out to dinner alone.

Shirtless guy and I discussed this earlier on facebook, we decided that we're going to draft for 7 or 8 teams in each league no matter how many and who shows up. Obviously we want to have everyone show up, but the 2 of us will be ready to draft for multiple teams on both nights next week. That we will have extra teams for some late-comers to take over that are already drafted, or if we have extras, we will manage both teams, with the rule that we, obviously can't trade between our 2 teams. If anyone else wants to do this, and we have open spots, you're free to. Or if anyone wants to be in 2 of these leagues, that would work too.Friday will work. If it's easier to move me to Thursday the 4th, that works too. I'll skip my concert. Post here or email me if you want to change it.
FWIW... last year we had a cluster **** with our draft and wound up drafting another night (people didn't show up, etc.). No room for a postponement this year. Will we still have the draft if only 3 teams show up Friday?
If I'm drafting a second team, I'll make them competitive, but I'm not going to draft any of my "sleepers" or any of the players that I have pegged as being the guys that are making significant jumps from last season.In case people don't show up, is there a pecking order for players, or do they just end up with the AIC All-Stars?

Someone will have to make a league. I think anyone can do that...but I can't now because the site is blocked at work. Once the league is made, you can just go in, create a team and select the correct league. For the league last night, the league will be USCHO 1.
