I made the open slot team on draft day, with the intention of having someone take it over. No one ever did. I haven't touched it since the day I made it, so I have no idea what the password is to get logged into that team...I think Zudnic might have to release them from the team, I won't be able to get logged in to do it.

Re: USCHO-3 Fantasy College Hockey League, 2012-2013 Season

bigbluedl: I'll take...

F Danny Kristo - UND
D Zach Palmquist - Makato

Thanks.

Re: USCHO-3 Fantasy College Hockey League, 2012-2013 Season

Thanks Shirtless Guy.

I made my 2 snipe moves. 2 Free Agent moves to go.

Re: USCHO-3 Fantasy College Hockey League, 2012-2013 Season

Used up my 2 Free Agent moves...
John Henrion, F, New Hampshire... dropped Megan, F, BU
Cody Murphy, F, Miami... dropped O'Regan, F, BU

Re: USCHO-3 Fantasy College Hockey League, 2012-2013 Season

My 2 snipes are done (Kristo and Palmquist) as well as my two free agents...

F Daniel Carr - Union
D Lorren Barron - Quinnipiac

Re: USCHO-3 Fantasy College Hockey League, 2012-2013 Season

FS23... you are in the bracket of death. ;) :D

Who would have thunk it...a Sioux-BC matchup in the "Frozen" Four? Doesn't bode well for me :p:D:D

Here were my two free agent moves...

FightingSioux23 McKenzie, Curtis (F/Miami) Krushelnyski, Alexander (F/Colorado College) Bench-Free Agent March 25th, 12:01 PM EST
FightingSioux23 Gibbons, Kyle (F/Canisius) Mauermann, Ross (F/Providence) Bench-Free Agent March 25th, 12:00 PM EST

Apparently I need Zudnic to release my two snipe picks, so just waiting on that to finish out my roster.

Re: USCHO-3 Fantasy College Hockey League, 2012-2013 Season

I'd like to snipe from SomethingBrewing:

Juho Olkinuora - G Denver
Matt Leitner- F Minn St.

Still 2 possible FA moves left.

Re: USCHO-3 Fantasy College Hockey League, 2012-2013 Season

FS23... Your players should be available now.

I picked up Kyle Rau, and I am just waiting for Hakstol to make his mind up on who he's going to start before I pick up Hartzell. I get until puck drop of the first game on Friday correct?

Re: USCHO-3 Fantasy College Hockey League, 2012-2013 Season

Reminder: You are allowed 4 Bench/Free Agent moves this round, with 2 of the 4 being snipes from the team you defeated. Snipes must be taken by Friday, 3/29 at noon.

You may take your Bench/Free Agent moves any time before the start of the game of the player you are trying to acquire, as in the regular season rules. You cannot carry over unused Bench/Free Agent moves to the next round.

According to this, you are correct, FS23.

Sweet. According to that, I can pick up Hartzell anytime prior to the Quinnipiac Game. Now I can wait and see who advances from my goalies on Friday before picking up Hartzell on Saturday.

Thank you for posting that.

Negative, ghost rider. As I'm reading it, Hartzell, being a snipe, must be taken by noon Friday.

My personal feeling (and actually, how I thought I remembered it from last year), is that you can take your 2 snipes at any time during the weekend. However, if that player doesn't get released due to the short timeframe between games, tough luck.

OK... here we go.

Playoffs:
Playoffs will be available via the League Home page and will only be visible to members of the league. Leagues must have at least eight teams in order for playoffs to operate. At noon the day the playoffs commence, teams will be seeded by total points. Playoffs operate on a weekly cycle, from noon to noon, but the final round encompasses two weeks to account for the one week waiting period before the Frozen Four. The top point earner in each head-to-head period will advance, and the winner will inherit the higher seed. There are three playoff rounds. Otherwise all game rules apply - individual leagues are encouraged to devise their own rules for disbursing players from eliminated teams, etc.

2013 Playoffs - Modified Roster Rules:
1. Unlimited moves between your Bench and Free Agents are allowed until noontime, Monday, 3/18, which is the start of the First Round. No further free agent moves are allowed until the second round.
2. First Round: Starts Monday, 3/18 at noon. Ends Monday, 3/25 at noon.
3. Second Round: Starts Monday, 3/25 at noon. Ends Monday, 4/1 at noon. Maximum of 4 Bench/Free Agent moves allowed, 2 of which can be snipes from the opponent's roster that you defeated in the previous round. Snipes must be taken BEFORE the start of the first game of the next round.
4. Final Round: Starts Monday, 4/1 at noon. Maximum of 4 Bench/Free Agent moves allowed, 2 of which can be snipes from the opponent's roster that you defeated in the previous round. Snipes must be taken BEFORE the start of the first game of the next round. Our FCH Champion will be crowned on Sunday, April 14th.
5. You may make unlimited moves between your Active Roster and Bench Players throughout the playoffs.

NOTE: Once a team is knocked out of the playoffs, their roster is frozen (except for the 2 allowed snipes) and the remaining players are not available as free agents.
FS23... you have to take your snipes before the start of the first game of that playoff round. I changed it to noon time to allow time for zudnic, if possible, to release players that the GM didn't release (he's a busy guy, so no guarantee on that though). But where your snipes have already been released, you have up until puck drop of the first game (2:00 pm eastern time, Minny vs Yale) to make your move. It is always best to claim your snipes as early in the week as possible so there is time to get them on your roster.

You can save your other 2 regular bench/free agent moves for any time during the playoffs, but if you don't use them, you can't carry over those moves to the next round.

If these guys aren't released by around 4 today you better post it so Zudnic has time to release them for you.
