Re: USCHO-3 Fantasy College Hockey League, 2012-2013 Season
Again, this is why I drafted the way I did, so that I wouldn't have to lose a player and waste a draft pick. IMO, an owner should be rewarded for having the keen foresight to structure his/her roster in the way that will bring him/her the most points without having to go through the schedules of all 59 teams to ensure that a draft pick would not go wasted. I understand your objections, so I suppose we can just agree to disagree. The main reason that I brought it up, is that it is an option in every other fantasy league that I play in, and I would like to see it implemented in this fantasy league. Maybe next year...

At some point, the goalie I think is an absolute lock to get me a W on any given night is gonna be a sieve and cost me some serious points. It happens.
If I release a player, I didn't get screwed and lose a draft pick... I released a guy from the roster I didn't think was good enough to win, or whom I thought was going to cost me some points. Maybe I screwed myself by picking the player in the first place. The rules can't, and shouldn't, protect anyone from that. JMO.
