This is pretty impressive, even in the Age of Dump.

Hopefully Flynn's deal will include coming completely clean, and hopefully his stuff will be FOIAble within my lifetime, because I really want to know. We've had some pretty serious treason in our history (Arnold, Burr, the Civil War, the 1968 Vietnam peace talks, Iran-Contra) but this one might actually top them all.

And he was put in charge of DIA by Presidential appointment in 2012. Didn't anyone see this guy's issues then (meaning on the way to Lt Gen and DIA) or now?

It's not whataboutism when it's actually a legit question as to how Obama got the wrong info on Flynn before appointing him, then later had to ask him to "retire" when he started going off the deep end with his conspiracy theories and obstinate management style that effectively isolated him at DIA.

Now, as to how he ended up in Trump's inner circle after all of that, well...you can't fix stupid.

Dump just reverses everything Obama does. That's the simplest explanation of why he made kissy kissy with Flynn.

Plus IINM Flynn was a Fox personality and to Dump if you're on the teevee that makes you The Best People.

Trump has made a shytload of mistakes, that much is obvious. What has become more complicated is explaining why he makes them. It is as if a bunch of fishing lines (representing "narcissistic," "lazy," "immature," "weak," "bullying," etc) have become tangled in such a mess that it is impossible to tell one from another or what leads to what. The only solution is to remove the hooks, cut the lines, and keep the mess out of the ecosystem.

Source? That can't be true. That would be insane. It would be the equivalent of severing relations with every majority-Muslim nation. I don't think even that moron John Bolton would do that.

I assume this is more deflection to get people's eyes off The Heist. Ignore it for now -- we have one job today.

Well it would help stop the coming Iran-Saudi War...cause they would attack Israel so fast it would make you feel like Linda Blair.

And then Bibi would nuke both Tehran and Mecca and kill more Muslims than Jews who died in the Holocaust, so we'd be even and we'd be absolved from having to protect the crusader state out of guilt any more, so we'd pull out and let them drive Israel into the sea. And the Muzzies wouldn't be mad at us any more because we'd have our filthy hands off their desert.
