Does building a wall between the U.S. and Manitoba qualify as foreign policy?
Of course it does. Building a wall between the US and Canada would actually be forward thinking. A wall between Canada and the US may be necessary once the wall with Mexico is done and the Navy and Air Force totally overwhelm the area with air and sea assets to stop the drug runners. The Canadian border would be the next area for the runners to infiltrate. I would not be surprised if some of the really smart ones are already looking into this. In the end, if the Mexican border is not effectively walled, the wall with Canada would be a little silly, but done in conjunction, it would be brilliant.
The Law of Posse Comitatus for those interested. The Navy and Air Force cannot be deployed to apprehend drug runners on US soil.

But, what about Letters of Marque and Reprisal??

Stopping drug runners should be the least of worries. In fact we could have already built a wall with the funds spent on the failed war on drugs.

So here is what I want to know. If they build the wall, which direction will the blades face, north or south, or will they just do like the Scientologists and put them both ways?Of course it does. And the drug runners would already be tunneling under it, or flying drones over it.
The wall isn't for stopping them.
You're right. Although some will argue now that a wall is necessary to prevent terrorism, it's all about keeping out Mexicans.
Members of the Burkina Faso military announced this morning that the military had seized power from the West African nation’s transitional government in a coup, unseating the interim president and prime minister and dissolving the government in the process.
Lt. Col. Mamadou Bamba read a statement announcing the coup on national television, while wearing fatigues and a military cap, the Associated Press reports. Wednesday night, the prime minister and president were arrested by soldiers and the presidential palace was barricaded.
I didn't know that Tim Duncan was from Burkina Faso...
