Which, best case, Musk didn't provide the EV to Russia, and would have to deny it, enraging Kadrov. Or, he did provide it and has committed a war crime and sanction violation.

Either way, why does Musk still hold security clearances within the US Government?
 
More importantly. I'm guessing the US can subpoena the records of who owned that Tesla and start an investigation.

Tesla ownership, especially cybertruck is carefully controlled and monitored by Tesla. A paper trail exists and someone is going to jail.
 
So there’s a country interfering with a criminal investigation being conducted by another country for an assassination of one of the second country’s citizens on their soil. Now top diplomats are being expelled and a lot of fiery rhetoric is being thrown back and forth. Great, yet another conflict to keep an eye on. Let’s see who is involved in this anyway…

Biden, in a major reversal that can only be in response to losing the election, approves U.S.-manufactured weapons to be used inside Russia. Hard to be hopeful for Ukraine with Trump taking over.
 
Candace Owens wants Russia and its “Orthodox Church” to win against the homosexual actor running Ukraine. Someone needs to let Zelenskyy’s wife know.
 
Saw this morning that HTS, or whatever this main faction is called, has forbid its members from taking any measures towards women regarding their clothing, looks, and covering up, and so forth, and personal freedom is a guaranteed right.

I am old enough to remember when Egypt did this (live on Twitter/Facebook) and everyone assumed it was a good thing...

To be fair, Egypt was a good thing. Then there was a counter-coup and a different strongman grabbed power. Same thing happened in Tunisia.

You aren't going to get a secular populist rebellion in an Islamic country right now, so anybody who grabs power is going to be some flavor of Sky Daddy Cray. These guys are saying the right things so far. They seem media savvy and they are absolutely trying to gather global support and legitimacy. In the short term that will help restore order, and that is in everyone's interest.

Long term I'm sure we won't love them because they won't play by all our rules, and we do not like that. Even though they hate Iran even more than Israel, Israel will bomb them eventually and I'm sure US media will claim they have a good reason. Whatevs. A brutal dictator is gone; it's a fractionally better world today.
