I think European pols are starting to realize how PO’d the people are. I realize it’s an incomplete picture but my wandering around various sites has shown that European folks are pretty PO’d.

That's very good. It's the one thing celebutards can do that's good. If they put themselves in the way of shells, all of a sudden the 5 billion morons on social media start to personalize the Ukrainian people. It is sad that's what it takes, but use it.
 
Zelensky told some of the other EU states during a conference call last night that it might be the last time they see him alive.

And yet, he's staying there. There's not one single person in our entire government who'd be doing what he's doing right now. All the Repubs would be pi&&ing themselves in the corner, if they hadn't cut and run already.

The important thing is to raise a stank NOW, before the pols are able to normalize this. Right now they have a hundred rich donors beating down their doors telling them "do not do anything, keep business flowing, this is fine." They will just allow this to happen unless the people rise and say, "we know this could be / will be US next, so no, fuck you, your money doesn't matter."

The IIHF released a statement that basically reads “thoughts and prayers”.

Unsurprising considering how much Russian money they take.

It is my understanding from something I read yesterday, that India has historically sided with Russia over China. Probably because of the various border disputes with China that pop up every now and then.

But, it's a difficult balancing act for India because they also rely heavily on the USA not just for foreign aid, but business relationships as well, especially in the tech industry.

So, this situation has definitely been a tough test for them.

US and UK sanctioning Putin and Lavrov directly. Again, it's not going to chnage anything but it's more pressure.

What it's going to take is enough oligarchs who want Putin to die of acute window poisoning.
 
For those people, not necessarily here, demanding that SWIFT removes Russian companies from its system, SWIFT has sent an official statement that they will only remove/block participants at the direction of the Belgian government.

Ok, now this is a stupid flight path.

Edit: Actually, now that i'm looking at it, it's an estimated path. It's transponder is not reporting back to ADS-B. Could easily be much further south.

Edit 2: Looking at the precipitous loss of speed prior to disappearing off radar isn't giving me warm fuzzies. Probably an artifact but... yikes.
