We are waiting for Ontario to annex Michigan. That would increase Canada’s population by at least 50%.

Free Healthcare as a trade off for border crossing checks with Wisconsin, Indiana, and Ohio?

I'd get my passport in a hearbeat so I could keep going home. Get it done Gretch!

Because they want to invade somebody, and then want peace and keep what they took. You can’t be that dumb.

That is what they would be giving countries the green light to do. Xi would love to invade Taiwan, and then ask for peace and keep it. But I bet once Argentina invaded Brazil, Lula would change his tune immediately.

Maybe an example even someone as clueless as you would understand- if Canada decided to take Maine, you would be ok with it for “peace”? I thought not.

Countries do what they think is in their best interest. Shouldn’t it be concerning that more counties aren’t taking our side and backing Ukraine? The invasion has definitely been an L for Russia but I think just as significantly it has been an L for us diplomatically. Even countries we would consider strong allies have been lukewarm in their support of Ukraine.

No.

Some countries are gutless. Some countries have their own agenda that conflicts with that of the US. Some countries are in the sway of Russia.

Should we do what they want, just cause they say so? Again, I ask, since when did you "America First" types give a flying fuck what any other country had to say? You especially, whose first response to every perceived slight against America is to start the bombing and ask questions later?

Did you care when they said we shouldn't invade Iraq? No, you're just whining because you're a Putie butt boy. Peace at all costs. Why can't we all just be friends?

Tell your pal Putie to get his azz out of Ukraine. Then we can talk. Until then, why don't you leave this sort of thing to the grownups.

I mean, it's a little bit funny that now that another country *wants* German tanks to roll through them on their way to kick Russia's *ss again, Germany was very gunshy about it.

Something, something, two world wars...

Yeah, diplomatically isolating Russia and being able to provide some support to Ukraine that they've stopped Russia's army in its track while not putting a single one of our soldiers at risk is a total L.

This has been an enormous diplomatic win for the US in Europe. It undoes much of the damage of Dump's idiocy.

What these guys are spoon fed from rightwing media is utterly delusional.

That’s the reason Macron went to China to cozy up to Xi and then said on the way home he wants Europe to be less reliant on the US.

Yeah, they want to be less reliant on us in the event we elect some lunatic president. For instance, someone who thinks launching a nuke at a hurricane is a good idea or will sell military secrets to an enemy nation for $2 billion...

Macron keeps going to toadying up to dictators every so often over the French need to pretend to be a superpower again (See: De Gaulle visiting Moscow and pulling out of NATO's Integrated Military Command in 1966), followed by his diplomats kissing our ass after other Europeans tell him to shut up.

Finland joined NATO. Sweden will get to join once we provide Turkey and Hungary with a couple handjobs. That alone is a win, assuming Ukraine doesn’t lose. Who the f-ck cares what authoritarians think.

I’ll take Finland and Sweden at the expense of France. Brazil has no real bearing, and china wants Taiwan, so they would naturally oppose us.

It’s only an L for the loser dumpers. So like drew.

Exactly. We let them pretend to be independent and a big boy from time to time but when push comes to shove they know where their bread is buttered and fall back into line.

So, you like people who cozy up to China now?

I mean, I know you're dumb as a post, but try to have some consistency in your stupidity.

Hmm, I must have missed the post where I claimed to be a security protocol expert. Pardon me for assuming that if you’re a low grade Air National Guardsman living with mom, that we won’t entrust you with our highest national secrets until you at least get elected our 43rd President.

Even as a neophyte, I will say this. If a member of the Geek Squad can sign into the computer of one of you important people, click on the folder you’ve marked “Top Secret - Don’t Open,” and then proceed to, a) download the files, b) email the files to himself, c) print the frickin documents out and walk out of the building with them, or d) stand in front of the computer and take pictures of them with his phone, you security experts suck at security.

A 21-year-old college graduate can get a top secret clearance at a defense company. I've seen it.

I'd vote in favor of Minnesota having Chuck on our money. Hell, we'd fit right in with the loon being on the $1. Practically a foot half out the door already.
