Denver hosts the 18th annual Wells Fargo Denver Cup tournament this weekend at Magness Arena. No. 2 Denver plays Nebraska Omaha (9-7-4) on Friday, Jan. 1 at 7:37 p.m. and Boston College (10-3-2) on Saturday, Jan. 2 at 7:07 p.m. Both games will be televised live on FSN Rocky Mountain and FCS Central. The games will be broadcast on AM 950 (Friday) and 104.3 FM (Saturday) with live stats available at www.DenverPioneers.com each night.

New era begins for me tonight: new hdtv, new video provider. I realize I'll be depriving myself of discussions of nets (and whether or not we're working with one) and flying (and whether or not anyone else is on the flight deck) unbelievably huge ice sheets in the Springs and microscopic ice in Duluth, plus 1001 other cliches, but I'm prepared for the withdrawl. :D
