UNO @ Denver - Denver Cup Friday 1/1/10

Re: UNO @ Denver - Denver Cup Friday 1/1/10

If there were an award for the biggest under achiever so far this season, Salazar would be the early morning favorite. Hard to understand.

Not on a line with Bozak is probably the biggest reason but I also heard an interview with him where he mentioned that he needed to work harder. He kind of took it for granted that things would be the same this season which they haven't.

Re: UNO @ Denver - Denver Cup Friday 1/1/10

I told my son before the game that Florida should kill them.

I figured that too. Bowls have gone about the way I wanted, although I surely feel bad for Northwestern. Very tough loss.

Brookwell's "other" goal was March 2008 at Magness against Duluth.

How about Bowling Green ahead by a TD with 32 secs. to go THEN Idaho, which hasn't been to a bowl since the internet was invented, scores with 8 secs and goes for the 2 point conversion AND gets it:eek:

But I do feel sorry for Northwestern.

I'd forgotten that fantastic finish. I've always had a soft spot for "DU East"

Re: UNO @ Denver - Denver Cup Friday 1/1/10

Ryder just crushed a UNO player in the corner,

Rock with a good chance that Faulkner makes a nice save on.

Time for the offense to get started again and not expect Chevy to save the bacon.

I know they're in Evanston and we have the Evans Chapel. We're practically related.

They named a whole town after John Evans, we just named a street after him. My old man was on the medical faculty and had great seats at what used to be known as Dyche Stadium. Spent many a happy Saturday up there watching Ara and the Wildcats. One particularly memorable day they dropped about 45 on Notre Dame (which warms me up to this very day). :D
