Re: University of North Dakota, version 2.0

It would have been a different story if we had done the same thing in Duluth..... remember, polls don't matter unless there is girls spinning on them....

So we are expected to sweep everyone and never lose at the Ralph? If a team comes in and squeaks out an OT win then we get penalized for it? Wow, Something isn't right with that.

But agreed with the "polls" part! polls are worthless, but they are fun to discuss and bicker over.

From Brad:

The World Junior A Challenge has started in Penticton.

USA beat Canada East 6-1 in its opener. Sioux recruit Colten St. Clair had two assists and fellow UND recruit Zane Gothberg stopped 23 of 24 shots in goal. UND recruit Jordan Schmaltz had one assist. Mike Parks and Nick Mattson also are on this team.

Host Canada West, meanwhile, fell to Switzerland 6-5 in overtime. Sioux recruit Mark MacMillan had two goals for Canada West, while Brendan O’Donnell had one assist.

No need to apologize, I can certainly understand why you were upset at some comments. :(

BTW, I'll be down in Phx permanently starting in about a week or so. Let me know if you're game for meeting up sometime to watch some college hockey. :)
New job, or a transfer with your current company?

Re: University of North Dakota, version 2.0

David Krejci just found out what everyone else knows, even Chuck Norris can't hit T.J. Oshie.

Re: University of North Dakota, version 2.0

Brutal hit. Oshie just plain OSHIE'D him.

Tough luck on Forbort, Mac, and Rowney being out again for this weekend against UW.
Hopefully those guys aren't out too much longer...

Re: University of North Dakota, version 2.0

That sucks about Oshie. He was having a great start to the season.

Christmas came early.;) ...besides everyone knows EJ is the star on that team and STL will be just fine without TJ Fatty.

Kristy - 1 goal in 10 games....remember when all you susie fans took shots at Jordan Schroeder this time last year for his slow start?....karama.... By your logic Hak must not be able to develop players very well!

Kristy will never come close to the level of success Jordan will have in the NHL.

Christmas lasts about about 6 months long for North Dakota and wisco fans because we love seeing the debacle that is the goofer hockey program. I hope we are the ones who knock you out of the playoffs again.....it's the gift that keeps on giving.

Re: University of North Dakota, version 2.0

and we also think that Hill and Lucia are doing a great job of coaching the Goofs.

Re: University of North Dakota, version 2.0

is there any way to prevent the spread of mono amongst locker rooms? I mean, it seems like this happens year after year. Why is there not a better measure to combat this?

Re: University of North Dakota, version 2.0

Nice road sweep of a supposedly good Badger team this weekend.

Next weekend: the student becomes the master as Dave Hakstol's Sioux take on Dean Blais' Mavericks, in Omaha.
