The offseason sucks. You know it when the biggest spark of conversation comes from a hate mongering troll.

Then again, this must be Happy's heyday as he finally has people listening and responding to his garbage.

Sioux fan in 'Sconnie, Getting cable hooked up at my new place in two weeks, I got the sports package that includes FCS on the hope of getting Sioux games.

Will I be getting to watch the Sioux?

Yes.
I live just out of Madison and have the FCS Sports Package. You get all Sioux home games for sure. Plus you get UW, UMN, and DU games almost every weekend on the other FCS channels.

I think Happy is thinking about joining us as a Sioux fan. He only has 5 posts in the new Gopher thread, but has the 2nd most posts in this thread! :eek:

Parks is one of, if not the best two-way forwards in the USHL. His base game is a physical game, battling in the corners and working hard in front of the net. He is a very solid hitter and you can tell that he likes contact. Parks also showed flashes of his offensive skill, netting 11 goals and picking up 11 assists last season. In my honest opinion, I believe that Parks can still elevate his offensive production while others say that he has hit his “ceiling” in terms of offensive upside. I believe that he can improve his shot quite a bit more, and I could envision at least a 15 goal season from Parks this season. Above all else though, Parks’ main asset on the ice has to be his vision. Parks can move pretty well out there, and he has the ability to make moves on the fly and he can almost “see into the future” to anticipate what the defenseman in front of him will do.

I like cheering for a National Champion, and you guys haven't won one in over 10 years. Ever since you lost your pipeline to overage Canadians, you don't have what it takes anymore. Even Woog would have won one or 2 championships with your talent, so why can't hakstool? Besides, I am over here waiting to see what happens first, a bunch of UND players get arrested, or you guys have to get a new, non-racist nickname. Either way, it's exciting just waiting for the good news, I am really hoping for both, especially if you can beat out the other UND for arrests.

Careful there Happy, the Gophers are going through their own National Championship drought that is just a couple years less than UND.

It seems that this offseason is more about the bad news from the Gophers, not UND. Pot smoking Birkholz, Leddy, Schroeder, Walters, Ambroz, etc.

That said, I don't think the Gophers and Sioux combined will beat out Notre Dame in offseason arrests. Not even close! :)

And you usually have other things planned after the first round of the NCAAs, so that would be a problem too.
