Re: University of North Dakota - Offseason Thread 2010

Interesting hypothesis, Sloe, but if you examine the unprovoked character assassinations on this site you will quickly discover the identity of the poster is a much better predictor of rude insults than the identity of the target. Also, the posters on this site who are the object of foul language outnumber the posters who delight in such crude exhibitionism. This speaks well of college hockey fans in general, don't you think?

Yes, and the stupid ******* players they root for as well. My God you're a worse buzzkill than Buzz Killington.

Re: University of North Dakota - Offseason Thread 2010

Question: Are personal attacks and slurs a part of the natural aging process of former athletes who spent too much time yapping during their playing days, or is this nasty habit of gratuitous insults the result of other, unknown character flaws?

Question: Are people who are full of themselves inside-out?

Re: University of North Dakota - Offseason Thread 2010

Would that be on the outside of something inside-out or inside of something outside-in? Or do I have all of that upside-down?

Only one who is full of himself would know, and don't think you or Dirty qualify, I'm happy to say. Well, not Happy . . .

Re: University of North Dakota - Offseason Thread 2010

Well I hope I'm full of myself or else my insides would be on my outsides and I'd find it really annoying if my intestines were dragging on the ground. If that were the case I probably wouldn't be cleared medically to do anything.

Mentioning that, Chay Genoway is yet to receive medical clearance to play (obligatory hockey content).

He doesn't seem to be too worried about that, reading the USCHO article:

Genoway won’t discuss the medical details of his current status, and coaches are prohibited by federal law from disclosing such information. But he plans to be playing for North Dakota when the season begins in October, and he hopes his teammates give him the opportunity to captain the team again.

:)

yeah, you're right. If Brent would change his poster name to "Checkwritingguru" or "Balding Sexless TechFan" or "Always has faith in the Gopher hockey program and thinks they are going to be a FF contender every year" we wouldnt' have to make fun of him so much.

That being said, a lot of us have hockey experience in our lives and are a lot smarter then you give us credit for.

That's not possible Sloe Gin. If we were smart we would have chosen to go to an ivy league school rather than UND. Because there's no reason to ever chose a school such as North Dakota over a Cornell, Harvard (sucks), Princeton, etc....

Oh come on, everybody knows the true elite school is SCSU - they are the Harvard of the north, after all.
