I was really hoping Tomek would be in net asap and didn't trust Johnson. After the last three games I hope they let him roll the rest of the year!

I guess hoping for a split was way too much. Who knew a UMD goal would be out of reach?

Eleven freshmen, hot-shot goalie that hasn't played yet, 3rd string walk-on goalie playing great and then yielding to the untested, hasn't played a full game before this year and now has 3 straight shutouts goalie, new head coach, and one new asst coach. Why aren't they undefeated? :D

Interesting statistic. UND goalies have more shutouts so far this season than Zane had in his career. Cam Johnson has gone 218 minutes 38 seconds without allowing a goal. Longest by a UND goalie in 62 years. 249:41 is the record by Spike Schultz in 53-54 season. With Alabama-Huntsville next he has a great chance of beating that record.

I disagree whole heartedly! You don't sweep a team like UMD and get 2 shutouts if your on your heels all weekend. They played a defensive style of hockey and capitalized when they got their chances. they switch up how they play a lot and this is a good example of the right style of play for a specific team. Lastly HOLY BALLS Johnson played good hope he can keep it up!
