Somehow UND has managed to add about 27 steps to this simple two-step process and screw up every single one of those steps. They are now currently falling down the stairs, face first. Perhaps, just perhaps, they'll reach the bottom of the staircase in the next couple weeks. I'm sure they'll add a few more stairs along the way though so they can faceplant on those as well. Mein Gott.

No, they (cough, Kelley, cough) could not have possibly screwed up the process more than they have. Unreal. Un ****ing real. It just makes me wonder what the next screw-up will be.

So here's a strange stat.

North Dakota has six wins thus far, to go along with two ties.

In all six wins, the final has either been 5-2 or 2-0.

Two things... Wisconsin was never as bad as they were made out to be and North Dakota was never as invincible as they were made out to be. The best thing about last night's game is that all of the obnoxious loudmouth UND fans who spewed false propaganda against the Big Ten for the better part of the last year now have to fill their big mouths with a heaping dose of crow.

This Wisconsin team is a hell of a lot better than last years team. I'd be careful looking at their record since two of their losses were in Boston (one being a thumping from you guys), where they can't seem to win even when they have a top 5 team. Freshman gelling and sophomores improving are the biggest factors.

You are right about UW being better than they were given credit for and that UND is probably not a #1 team at this point--too many freshmen. But nobody with a brain would argue that the Big 10 wasn't absolutely pitiful last year and is weak again this year. And if you need to go back to the Eisenhower/Nixon years when your mother was playing hula hoops and wearing bobby socks to count three fourths of Michigan's titles (while it played for two other conferences) to to support a claim that the Big 10 is a strong hockey conference, you are just embarrassing yourself in front of people on this board who know hockey. You'd be safer playing the Hitler and overage Canadians cards.

What was UND's head-to-head won/lost record vs. the Gophers the last few times they played in recent memory?

How many different Big Ten schools have won national championships since the last time UND won it way back in 2000?

I don't need an angry response that deflects from the topic. Just simply provide answers to my two questions.

What about my posts? They're based on facts, not opinion and/or emotion. If you think I need medical help based on the use of facts in my posts, well then I'm afraid I have to call into question your ability to use common sense and reason.
