Lifelong hockey fan who played Maine high school hockey in the days of 4 teams to include Dixfield and the outdoor rink on the hill! Longtime D1 fan who many miles to Orono under my belt and D3 fan living in Waterville. UNE is clearly a rising star at the D3 level and add me to their growing fan base.

Thx for the nice comments BlackBear. Twas a very good 3 point weekend on the road for Nor'easters

Re: University of New England 2015-16

Two gritty wins for the Nor'Easters over the weekend, and Castleton has to be the best 2-win team I've seen in a long time! Six of UNE's last nine games are on the road. Could be interesting!

Thx all for contributing to our UNE Men's Ice Hockey Forum.

Been a fun season for the Nor'easters so far, and yup the last nine games should be very interesting.

Re: University of New England 2015-16

There's an old saying in hockey "the harder I work, the luckier I get". UNE is one hard working team, and even when they may not play their best, they never stop working hard. Tonight, it paid off. Certainly, another big step forward for the program.

Another 4 point weekend for the Nor'Easters. May not have been the prettiest game today, but they found a way to put together another win!

Re: University of New England 2015-16

Congrats to Fleurent and Riley on their weekly honors. They were both pretty large for the Nor'Easters over this past weekend. Different kind of week this week. Game on Tuesday in Brunswick, I expect the Polar Bears will be out to settle some scores, and a big rivalry game against USM at the Alfond on Friday night. Students are back on campus, so it should be a good crowd.
