University of Maine Off-season 2024: Insert Pun Here

Well I guess the longer it plays out that no official news that Breen and Nadeau have signed any type of pro contract bodes well for there return to Maine...but a word of caution on that...until it's stated there coming back ...I am still skeptical. But I hope the posters are correct.

It was terrible. Let me get my violin.

I’m with ticap on this…get the violin. Not much makes me happier than seeing BU lose. I still scroll through my photos at the garden of Eichel and Grizlick kneeling at center ice as Providence celebrated. I think I’ll have those enlarged and put on canvas. (I’m glad Eichel won the hobey…I used to love watching him play pee wees and bantams, skating circles around everybody, but…)

BU is the team I love to hate, they were the great villain back in the day. But they got screwed by the refs, simple as that. Those 2 guys should never get near the ice in any NCAA game.

“It is better for me and my improvement as a player to be around better players and practicing with them,”

If you didnt know who said that what would you think - me, that he wasnt that impressed with the team he was on. Its very telling.

Bradly Nadeau?

EDIT: Yep, Bradly Nadeau.

He would have been better off another year in college he can try and spin it anyway he wants you're better off over ripening in college than jumping to thr next level and flaming out or becoming a career ahler

Unless Carolina was extremely upset with his non-development. Have you ever seen someone who NEVER used his body to shield the puck…never even tried (that I can recall)….to think that Keenan Hopson was head and shoulders better at “stickhandling in a phonebooth” and shielding the puck just plain amazes me. (Not that Keenan was a Leveille by any stretch)
Did Brad improve since his magical day at Colby College back in October?

i haven’t watched the full game yet, but Piotrowski…that is all

jeeez…poor Gretzky. He only played on a couple Canada Cup teams with a guy who was even close to his level…And Gretzky helped him improve and become a better team player (if you know, you know)

i guess by Brad’s logic Gretzky never should have suited up.
