University of Maine 2024–2025: Freel-ing good

The field is set. The brackets just need a little clarity tomorrow but it looks like

1 Boston College vs AHA Champion
Denver vs Providence

4 WMU/Minnesota vs Minnesota State or Quinnipac
Minnesota/WMU vs UMass

3 Maine vs Pedo State or Quinnipac or Minnesota State
UConn vs Quinnipac or Pedo State

2 Michigan State vs ECAC champion
Boston University vs Ohio State

What we need tomorrow to avoid the Nittany Lions: Clarkson > Cornell
I don't have any other results lifting Quinnipac above Pedo State.

Technically Maine will be paired with Minnesota State and Quinnipac with the top seed in Fargo, but the committee may decide to flip them. If Cornell wins, Maine will play Pedo State and Minnesota State will be in Fargo anyway.

Cant wait to add 2025 to our hockey east champ banner in the alfond.
The maine fans are amazing, what a sight we must be. Must have been 12000 of us in that bldg tonight. The red carpet entrance for the team was awesome!! Fans are probably still out there on causeway st hooting and hollering and chanting lets go black bears. Lol

The boys will have fun tonight -- back to work monday. Lets get to st Louis!!!

Was such a visual seeing that many Maine fans there. Not sure how many there will be in Allentown. That is a much bigger investment for most. I can’t swing it since I have money wrapped up in family vacation over April school vacation. Likely tonight is my last live in person viewing this year. I hope they organize some busses to make it cheaper for fans to get there at least.
 
What an experience out on the streets, at the red carpet, and inside the garden. I heard the few UConn fans I saw ask within their groups what was going on and if this was a Maine home game. Incredible stuff. What a game, a team, and a season. Go Blue!

Good morning fellow Hockey East Champions 🏆

I can get used to Garden visits being “business trips” every season.

Really hope the team enjoyed and soaked that in last night and know that there is a bigger celebration in their future.

Also, anyone see Boija rocking the 93-design track suit in the postgame? Sounds like they had those custom made which is awesome.
