University of Maine 2024–2025: Freel-ing good

As for BU, what an embarrassment that was. I’d previously been complementary of them since Pandolfo took over and thought they played a skilled and heavy game. This version of their team looks like a shell of themselves. Seemed to lack leadership and maturity. Celebrating a shootout tie like that tells you all you need to know. They won’t be winning anything this year.

BC appears to be a class above the rest at the moment. Next tier looks to be Maine, Bu and providence. There’s a clear bottom 3 but not sure how it shakes out in the middle.

You mean like pounding the glass as hard as you can like you just won the national championship? That was #15. Absolute clown show that team. Starts at the top. Pandolfo condones the behavior so they do it.

If BU deserves to be in your 2nd tier then Lowell does too. Lowell has a better overall record and league record than Maine even.

People on the Facebook page are saying Pandolfo wouldn’t get in line to shake hands. Chasing refs at intermission. Seems like a team of entitled cry babies. I now wish nothing but $hi+ for them the rest of the season.
 
I'm really interested to see how they do in last year's house of horrors on Friday (the Whitt at key auto complex blah blah)

I'm not going this year so they will probably win

Also Lowell has been my surprise of the year. Great start for a team expected to be at the bottom

If they spent half the time they did whining during the game doing something else the game probably would have ended before almost 10pm since the refs spent half the game talking to them

Again I have no problem with contesting questionable calls but this was the most incesssant whining ive seen from a team in a long time.

You are correct. Barr was motioning to have him get in line to shake hands and he blew him off and Barr started yelling at him. A real POS move

This was a real shame, I know he still hasn't found the scoresheet much but I was thinking he was starting to heat up offensively, was getting good looks and making some nice plays.

Onto UNH. When was the last time Maine had a win in Durham? I don’t think anyone on this roster has won down there. So there should be motivation to do something previous teams couldn’t. Last year UNH spanked Maine in Durham. Time for some revenge. They like flopping fish on their ice, let’s make a Whale flop on their ice. That should make them happy.
