University of Maine 2024–2025: Freel-ing good

BC has taken the lead at Vermont.

If Maine can win and Northeastern hangs on at BU then Maine has a nine-point lead on the Terriers (plus the tiebreaker) with four games remaining which would guarantee the Bears no worse than second place in the conference.
 
Breazeale has a chance to make smart play and clear the zone off the boards, instead goes d2d and turns puck over, guy shoots it on net and Breazeale is down doing a spin on the ice and puck goes in off him. Arggghhh. Not greatest play there from Breazeale.
 
Maine does seem like mental midgets at times when they have the opportunity to clear and just leave the puck dangling there.
 
Maine is soft compared to UConn....that's been part of the problem in the second half....they need tougher more aggressive players.
