University of Maine 2024–2025: Freel-ing good

Time for the powerplay to wake up. Good chance to steal some momentum in a game where there hasn't been much give or take
 
Maine has no time or space up a man. PC is good at clogging every inch of the ice up.
PC probably thinking the same thing. No room out there with the way these teams forecheck.

Sparkee is spot on Maine just needs to skate the puck out because zone exit passes are just not there.
 
Providence had the better of the chances that period. The two breakaways were dangerous.

Need guys like Russel, Nadeau, Komarov to use their legs to lug puck through neutral zone so that the d can stay behind so Providence trap stops springing guys.
 
Interesting. Providence takes timeout half way through their power play. Helps Maine penalty killers get a breather. They must have a play they want to run.
 
Real shame on Dalton for that one, I've generally liked what I've seen from him this year too. Was the correct call again to give the major.
