Congratulations to Kelly Zajac and Troy Grosenick on their being named respectively as ECAC Player and Goalie of the week.

Were gonna be seeing more of Reid due to some injuries and other violations. Forgaard hasnt practiced a week or more with an injury. And Vasaturo is out also. Hopefully Reid can play well till these guys get back, all he needs to do is play well and make sure they dont score and his job is i think a job well done.

We're all in mourning over Saturday's developments. On the radio, they hinted that Bennett had a closed door meeting with the team after the game. The assistants were outside the locker room and the door was closed.

Well they certainly were mostly Brown highlights :mad:.. all you have to do is watch the replay of the Bruins' 2nd goal to get an idea of what the closed door meeting might have been about.. puck goes into the corner with U on the PK, the 3 U skaters off the puck stop moving & look like they are in La-La land, puck suddenly goes out to the point with the closest Union skater about 15 feet away and next thing it's in the net.. I really don't understand why U never seems to have any killer instinct when they play Brown, especially at Meehan which is quickly becoming "Starr Rink East" in my book.. time will tell if the 4 points handed to Brown on a platter will come back to haunt at the end of the season. Otherwise a very nice effort on Friday and U is still in good position for a top 4 finish but..

Didn't see the game but maybe after Union got its "dreaded" two goal lead they thought the game would be a laugher, despite previous negative results in similar situations. One thing I understand about Brown is that they never seem to quit at least against us anyway. Whatever the case, it was definitely a blown opportunity to solidify the ECAC standings and even pick up ground on Cornell. Good for Rick Bennett if he gave them a piece of his mind but who knows what goes on behind closed doors? The win against Yale was a good one but perhaps not so significant as might be thought at first glance as it appears that the Bulldogs have lost their way and taken several steps backward. The boys had best come away with 4 points this weekend to get back on track. I'd like to know what the story is with Vasaturo, he must be in the bow wow house but good.
