Welsh, Jooris and Carr reunited. It will be interesting to see if their reUnion produces. Also, it seems that Coburn is being benched at least for tonight. I assume he is a healthy scratch. Fourth line of Bennett, Coatta and Ikkala remain intact. I thought they were pretty good last night.
Coburn was not a healthy scratch. He didnt play the end half of the harvard game due to injury and couldn't play cause of that injury against Dartmouth

Heck, I'm even shocked! I thought I killed that joke, stabbed it about 47 more times, and then kicked it in the happy sack for good measure.:D

That thread was so epic that it'll be years until that dies out. St, Clooud is alive and well too.

The Mt. St. Helens of the ECAC finally erupted. Hopefully the lava continues to to swallow the rest of the league

The threat of rain in Boston tomorrow has led to cancellation of the teams' scheduled practice. I think the forecast for Friday is more favorable.

Can't get enough coverage?

Schott has video interviews with:

Players @ http://www.dailygazette.com/videos/2012/jan/12/928/
R.Bennett and Ted Donato @ http://www.dailygazette.com/videos/2012/jan/12/927/
Jooris @ http://www.dailygazette.com/videos/2012/jan/12/926/

For $10, Harvard offers a live stream of the game @ http://client.stretchinternet.com/client/harvard.portal#

For free, Harvard Radio (WHRB) offers live audio of the game as well @ whrb.org. Though if you want to pay the money for the video, it's fine by me...still our audio anyway.

Was at the game tonight. You guys have a really good team and a solid goaltender. Congrats on winning in what is one of my favorite places on this planet (I'm a Red Sox fan).

It is incredible to reflect back 45 years when the Dutchmen were just playing club hockey. Some of those players, Hastings out of Pomfret (now headmaster there), Brickley, Miller, and O'Neill out of St. Georges's to name a few, must be scratching their heads! Last night's win over Harvard at Fenway just begins to describe the significance of the climb to the summit. Union...a national powerhouse? STAGGERING! Playing for a NCAA championship is definitely a realistic aspiration all these years later. It is quite a story.

Just back from Boston. A wonderful experience heightened by a big win. Fenway was resplendent (and this is from a Yankee fan) and the atmosphere was spectacular. The viewing from high above the right field line was much better than I had anticipated even though we were pretty far from the rink. The HD video board which is huge, made viewing the far end very easy if you wanted to use it. I'm guessing that Union may not have a similar opportunity to do this again, so I'm glad to have been there. Props to the Union faithful who were there in huge numbers and were very vocal in support of their team. That also made it a lot more fun. Looking for another solid effort tonight which would cap a superlative weekend.
