- Druther's Brewing has a tap room/restaurant at the Casino near campus. Established local craft brewer

Many great places downtown but I'm going to give a plug to Katie Obyrnes. We are located at the corner of State St. and Erie Blvd. Irish pub with a mix of traditional and craft beers. Diverse menu with Irish fare, prime rib and excellent wing selection along with 8 flat screens. One of few venues who show college hockey on our TV's. Union staff, family and players often frequent Katie's and we do their team meals in our banquet facility. Another hidden gem in Little Italy is Hunters on Jay. Great beer selection and a lite fare menu.

A GLARING omission on my part JK !!! Uggh. Katie's is indeed a GREAT spot and centrally located !!

Thanks for all the suggestions. I got the tickets set up today. I was told by the ticket office that one could park in any campus lots for the game.

Those lots fill up pretty quick. If you aren't there at least an hour before puck drop (that's also when doors open), then I would probably bet against finding a spot in a campus lot.

The small lot right behind the rink has typically been reserved for players/coaches/media. The lot in front of the rink has generally been reserved for season ticket people.

Here's a map with two of your best bets for campus parking circled in red. The rink is the building with 71 on it: https://ibb.co/Ks5wcxJ

The walk to the rink from the lower parking lot is maybe 5-10 minutes.

A lot of people also park on Lenox Road, the street behind the rink.

Just a reminder - Football vs Hobart is at 12pm - So keep in mind the tail end of the game may still be going so parking will be tight closer to the football field and rink.

Thanks for posting this reminder. This is really important for visiting fans to note. The football field is right next to the hockey rink and the football teams are both undefeated and the game will draw a very big crowd. It's going to be a zoo !!!

Any visiting or home fans I would stay away from Lennox Rd (Behind the Rink and Football Field) That will be a zoo.

Good Choice of Captains!! Hanson the first goaltender in the DIV 1 era and I believe 2nd Overall. I do believe Mike Merlo 81-82 was a Captain under Charlie Morrison

Good choices for captain and fully supported by the team. Elite Prospects shows Blackmun as coming next year and in is transfer year this year. However, there is a podcast which seems to suggest that he is cleared to play this year?

Football defeated previously undefeated Hobart who was ranked 21 in NCAA D-III. Did so convincingly. Football is now undefeated. More speed than size.
